The Senator named dropped the Generals that support him (but, conspicuous by abscence was OIF CINC GEN Tommy Franks who has supports the Presdent). Two he did mention have something in common: McPeak's (a real nut case) claim to fame as AF Chief of Staff was changing the uniform to resemble air line pilots; Shinseki's (sp) was taking away the Ranger beret and making it Army wide. This caused a lot of hate and discontent and was the subject of many cartoons comparing the Army with the army of France and their berets. Maybe that is why Kerry likes Shenseki? Wink
