I've been off the site for awhile. Hurricane Jeanne knocked my power out until Friday Oct 1. So I've missed all the latest posts.
So anyway today, Saturday Oct. 2, I pick up my newspaper and see an article in the Orlando Sentinal (Slantinal is more like it), page A21 (from page A1), titled "Kerry visits Florida; Bush stumps in Pennsylvania". In the article are two pictures, one depicting the Kerry campaign and one depicting the Bush campaign.
Now I know some of you may think I'm making this up because it is too bazaar to be believed, but one picture show's Kerry bending over shaking hands with adoring fans reaching out to him at the Kissimmee convention center.
The other shows a Bush campaign stop in Allentown Pa. The Bush picture shows sad looking children behind bars! I'm not kidding, children behind bars. What has this to do with a Bush campaign stop?
The Kerry caption refers to him reaching out to enthusiastic supporters.
The Bush caption refers to Bush criticism of Kerry.
I just love these wonderful examples of journalistic integrity. |

Same kind of thing in the Raleigh N&O.
Pre-debate had two drawings of Bush and Kerry on the front page -- not photos -- 'drawings'. The artist had made Kerry look good and made Bush look like crap. They actually published one letter to the editor today, complaining about this.
In today's paper, they published a piece comparing Kerry's and Bush's 'mistakes'. Every mistake Kerry made (which we all know was a deliberate obscuration of the facts) they said was 'slight' 'of little real consequence' etc. They climbed all over the least error Bush made.
I'm so fed up with the MSM I can hardly stand it.
