Remember, the Democrats have been developing a strong corps of election mechanics for the last twelve years.
They've always had a tradition of briging our their deceased electorate in Chicago a a several other strongholds. But beginning with Bob Dornan, they've used the technique stuffing using large numbers of Mexican illegals, and since then have been refining a number of other crative forms of steealing as well.
Remembr the reports of massive voter fraud in 2000 - the illegals in California, and the southwestern states, the polls kept open late in Missouri, the Wisconsin students bragging on television about how they had made the rounds of the precincts voting repeatedly, the town in Pennsylvania which cast more ballots than there were residents? And many more examples. Not to nemtion the famous attempt to do a post election ballot stuff in several Florida precincts. And none of these incidents were seriously investigated or prosecuted because Bush wnated to get of on a friendly start.

Both John Fund in the Wall street Journal and the American Spectator people have begun publishing warnings. And Al Hunt is now arguing for polling and considering the "unlikely voter". The campaign allegations and protests about "suppressing the minority vote" are also clearly intended to intimidate attempts at challenging massive vote fraud.

If the public appearances and polls all show Cheatin' Kerry is way behind, then election theft becomes impossible; if Dukakis had stolen the election, nobody would have believed it. But if the election appears to be close, then all stops can be pulled out to steal the election, and the press will talk about an "amazing come from behind victory". And that is the significance of the Newsweek poll, it is the beginning of the attempt to provide a plausible cover for stealing the election. The poll results don't have to be accurate or close, they just have to be presented as close, and persuade enough people to believe it.

Or am I paranoid to believe that the MSM are members of Cheat's "Band of Brothers", just liek Dan and Mary?[/i]

Newsweek poll is not as dependable as Rasmussen Poll. Rasmussan Poll as of today still shows up by 5. There poll was dated today. We just need to keep up pressing.

I'll feel better once the Rasmussen poll gathers more post-debate data. Right now, I think only 1/3 of the data includes people who could have seen the debates.

Nobody Hates John Kerry more then me.

But I AM worried. I just watched on CSPAN a Tony Blair party conference where HE spoke about Iraq etc for I guess more then 30 minutes. He gave a great presentation.

The problem is George Bush was pathetic utterly pathetic in pointing out ALL the problems with Kerry and I think there HAS been a huge change in the election.

Bush is going to lose if he can't do better then before. The problem is George Bush.

I think Debates are meaningless, Its about a vision about what team would take over the national government.

By just putting Kerry on the stage with Bush at the same time, Bush validated him as a equal. Nixon had it right by not debating after 1960.

Oh well, I'm worried very worried.

public criticisms, etc, threatening to form a tsunami crashing down on this White House. Its incredible how many things are going on, when you sit down and list them...let's recap:

anti-Bush/Repub movies: Fahrenheit 9/11, The Hunting of the President, Control Room and Outfoxed.

public critics and whistleblowers: Richard Clarke, Joseph Wilson, Paul O'Neill and Anonymous.

investigations: 9-11 Commission's study, the Senate Intelligence Committee's pre-war inquiry, the Plame leak investigation, the Taguba report and Abu Ghraib investigation.

embarrassing televised moments: Bush's widely-panned SotU address, his stumbling repetitions on Russert, his "make no mistakes: I don't make mistakes" press conference, Condi Rice's "I believe the title of that memo" 9-11 commission appearance, Donny Rummy's post-Abu Ghraib congressional committee grillings.

anti-Bush authors with books selling: Conason, Corn, J. Dean, Franken, Krugman, Ivins, Unger, Waldman...

I would add to that list: passing the 1000 combat deaths mark in Iraq, the recent criminal indictment of 'Kenny-boy' Lay, and the controversy (though pretty much non-existent in the press) about Bush's military service...

From a antiBush site, Citing all their hard work!

It is amazing how powerful Truth is!!

Here's some lowdown on the bogus Newsweak poll - don' buy the spin - this is a fraudulent poll designed and manipulated to make Kerry the comeback kid and give him the big MO. We have to stay informed about the facts, stay focused and keep fighting. As my young Brit friend says to me, "Keep your chin up, mate. " Wink

After the debates I took a break from all things political just regain my perspective. It felt good and I regained my equalibrium and a positive attitude..

While some feel there is need for concern, I feel this is a momentary hiccup. The belief I have that Kerry & Co. will do the most underhanded things possible is matched by the belief that they will screw up big-time again. The debate paper thing could be explosive, Kerry's credibility already stinks, but these guys have shown again and again that they are the gang that can't shoot straight.

So have faith, we're the good guys after all.
