Kerry was arrested in May of '71 in Lexington, Mass. Does anyone know if there is a mugshot available or an arrest report? |

I am including info that has a shot of Kerry with his arms behind his head
in what appears to be the arrest that you cite.
I have not been able to obtain an official mugshot as yet. It may not exist as this was a mass arrest.
I have included more info as well for your review.
You will be able to find more info than you wanted to know about all things Kerry.
I am frustrated because I cannot connect to the link about;

Perhaps someone can get around the roadblock.

Kerry began traveling around the country to carry the antiwar flag.
During Memorial Day weekend, he joined a throng of antiwar protesters on the green in Lexington, Mass.,
where he and hundreds of others were arrested.
Kerry said the arrest, for which he paid a $5 fine and
spent the night at the Lexington Public Works Garage, is the only arrest of his life.
At the time, Kerry's wife, Julia, kept $100 under her pillow
just in case she needed to bail out her husband on short notice[/size]

This timeline is comprehensive. I do not vouch for the veracity
but it makes a great outline to click to a source for your particular interest
in all things Kerry.

I would like to point out that a dastardly source of Kerry rhetoric is no longer available on any search that I have conducted.
If anyone can get past it and provide the info????

Thanks Mary Ann. From what you discovered I suspect that you are right - there may not be a mugshot.
As for comparing National Guard service with Jailbirds, I could not get through to the links you posted either. But I did find this quote from Kerry in a Wahington times article which may in fact be the source of the story;
Quote: | "What I've always said is — and I defended Bill Clinton's position, and I would defend the president's choice with respect to going into the Guard. I've never made any judgments about any choice somebody made about avoiding the draft, about going to Canada, going to jail, being a conscientious objector, going into the National Guard." |
What a snob! I'd say he was equating Guard service with jail time and draft dodging.
The complete Washington times article here.
Thanks again for all of your effort! |

Misty,
Yes I've seen that photo. If the traitor wins the election I think that should be used as his official portrait.
Thanks! |

It may be a rumor, but I heard he was arrested in France for possesion of illegal items. It seems that in a search of his hotel room they found soap, toothpaste and deoderant. |
