That was my thinking;

No response from the audience either way.

Now, here is the truth about SNL last night:

I am an avid follower of SNL, and with that show being a premier of a new season, they are either hurting for writers, or they didn't think before they acted.

The opening skit was the debates, laying hard into Bush for using the term, "Working Hard"........they overused the line and by the end people were dragging on to see the finality of the skit.

Only one skit got a good laugh which was a makeup of a Levitra commercial.

The Debbie Downer skit was absolutely hilarious the first time it ran earlier this year........but was horrible the second time around. Then the Swift Boat ad came and people just didn't laugh but for some stupid little antics that pulled way off base from any relation to the cause.

Made up for sure, but like someone else stated........wth about this Adobe endorsement?

The skits got worse as the show went on,,,,,,like the one with 5 people stuck on a escalator???????? Please......... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

When they did the SNL news......they are missing Jimmy Fallon........which was a good one for the skit............they used another woman to bring it to a total of 2 now, and her first joke BOMBED badly where the other girl had to commend her for her first joke to get an applause.

SO..........in summary,

Bad writers are in the mix for SNL.

They had 2 democrat actors on there,,,,,,,,,,and I don't know what the owner of SNL's political affiliation is,,,,,,,,but they have left some disappointment to viewers last night.

You have to be good if you are going to poke fun at anyone. SNL has been in this lurk before............back in the Late 90's where the actors were publicly crying out that SNL needed a makeover.

The Bottom Line,,,,,,,,,,,,,Swift Vets are once again in the media......and even though it was a parody............it still makes people know of the true being why you all have spoken out.

No one can denounce that stature.

But the efforts to hold him accountable, are notorious and will be a page in History.

I like many Americans have grown to register URL's I see. They are everywhere! Billboards, magazines, bumper stickers, and SNL comedy skits. I will go to a web address if it shows up on Saturday Night Live, You never know what you will find ! Well, as I stated before I did not see the skit but I did go to the bogus website they created for the skit. It was not very flattering and was full of the lies and insults that we've been plagued with from the start. The skit is one thing, miss-information is another. For a television show to be showing political favoritism is just wrong in my eyes. Also please do not just write SNL off as just a comedy show that no-one watches. It was said in 1996 that if Bob Dole had gone on SNL the week before the election instead of the week after, That he would have won that election. I don't know how much of that is true, but I do know I saw that broadcast and saw a side of Dole that I hadn't seen before the election. Comedy skits are great, The trading spouse skit with the Kerry's and the Bush's was kind'a funny ! I just don't like them taking sides and I think I'd be just as pissed off if it were Kerry that they were dumping on.....I'm ATACKM and I approve this message !

The opening debate skit put me right to sleep. I'm probably not the only one.
