John Kerry's been such a pathetic and confusing candidate for the last 6 months, just the fact that he didn't flip-flop too much during the 90-minute debate made his minions delerious about how "presidential" he appeared. Of course the MSM is now painting him as essentially the new frontrunner, and they will carry his message right through to election day.

What a loser, and what a joke that these people actually think this guy should be President!

Both the Dems and the MSM have incredibly low standards for who they will submit and support as the next leader of this great nation. We can not accept their pitiful standards and misguided ideology and allow such a hollow charlatan to become our Commander-in-Chief, especially now.

John Kerry has no core convictions and as President would make "world endorsement" a prerequisite of any action to defend the American people and/or preserve our way of life. Can't you see it now? President Kerry is returning to the U.N. today to make another attempt to convince France and Germany to vote for another U. S. sponsored resolution condemning Osama Bin Laden's latest beheadings of school children.

Kerry defames our current brave allies in Iraq as he speaks of being a "builder of real coalitions, unlike President Bush." He even defames the impressive interim premier of the fledgling free Iraqi government.

He has no understanding of the word "commitment," especially in times of war. John Kerry will always backpeddle on any important undertaking if popular support begins to erode.

Kerry could never provide a steady, positive and optimistic vision to lead our troops, our allies and the American people, through a tough wartime period like now in Iraq. He doesn't have the courage to stand his ground when pressure mounts, because his "ground" is never conviction of the heart - it's just his current "argument du jour", and it's much easier for Kerry to spew out a new case for another approach than to lead the way through troubled waters and challenge growing opposition.

John Kerry will wilt like a coward when times get tough, and he will cave in with the first wave of pacifistic whinings from the left. That is not the kind of President this country needs as we battle to defeat terrorism to make the world safer, when so many in this country and throughout the world would prefer to continue to "leave the terrorists alone."

John Kerry does not have the capacity to originate any bold new initiative, like the Bush Doctrine that attempts to actually solve problems for future generations by helping a free Iraq emerge in the Middle East. Kerry has served as a U S Senator for 19 years, yet he has not one signature piece of legislation to his credit.

John Kerry is a skilled debater, especially in front of an unsophisticated audience. In fact, he can take either side of any issue (and often does) and present a convincing argument. Kerry does not need to believe his arguments are valid or his cause is just - he only needs to feel his salesmanship can convince many to support his side.

John Kerry is a leftwing pacifist who sees himself as a patriotic warrior, and he is a follower who sees himself as a leader. As Katherine Hepburn called Henry Fonda in "On Golden Pond," John Kerry is actually nothing more than a "pontificating old poop."

Even without taking into account Kerry's self-aggrandizement and betrayal of his fellow veterans during and after Vietnam, he is completely unqualified and unfit to be President of the United States.

The saddest fact right now is that about half of the people in this country have bought into the charade and propaganda that the Kerry campaign, the Democratic Party and the MSM are orchestrating together.

I truly wish that George W Bush never had to subject himself to even the slightest comparison with this pathetic, do-nothing puppet of the radical left. I don't blame W for being disgusted at the last debate. If our country's Democratic Party and MSM had not been hijacked by the left, Bush would at least have debated an honorable nominee who he could respect. And that opponent would have had more in common with Bush than in contrast with him, because both would be proud Americans first.

John Kerry does not resemble that traditional Democratic Party nominee. No, Kerry is in fact the first Presidential nominee of the "New World Party," the party anti-American leftists like George Soros, Michael Moron, Terry McAwful, Jimmy Carter, Ted Kennedy, Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather stole from patriotic Democrats like Zell Miller, Scoop Jackson, John Breaux and Joe Lieberman.

And like the islamic terrorists on September 11th, these radicals hijacked our Democratic party when we weren't looking, and now they are using it as a weapon to destroy the American Presidency, for no reason other than they hate what this country has always stood for.

I don't want this election to be close. I think we are fighting to keep our country, and our enemy within is probably more threatening to America's future than are the terrorists.

Well said, hleone. This is exactly what's happening in the Democratic Party and it is exactly what is 'trying' to happen in this election. It seems only a bare majority of voters in our country are awake to the truth of what you are saying. Let us hope and pray -- and work for! -- that majority to increase and defeat these America haters!
