The only phenomena winning this past weekend has been the elite media's spin on the campaign. As a result, the Kerry campaign smells blood, and they're strutting around like dufis peacocks. However, their mistake is thinking this game is over. My contention is, and always has been, their candidate is a lightweight and will lose.
Having said this, the outcome of this game is now almost entirely in the president's hands. He's on the 5 yard line with less than a minute left to go in this game. He cannot fumble. That's the key. He fumbled last week, and lost the ball. But he has it back (most of the internals in the polls still show Bush leading as do the sports bettors and traders). He cannot afford any more fumbles, not this close to the goal line.
USA Today reporting the president has a 4-1 edge over Kerry with veterans (although CNN felt compelled to report last night that the prez lost a few points among vets. She sharks are circling).
