Kerry won the debate in the press. All of my pro Bush friends thought that Bush devastated Kerry by pointing out how ridiculous Kerry’s plan to get France and Germany to help out in Iraq after he called Iraq a “Grand Diversion” and “the wrong war at the wrong place at the wrong time.” He further buried him by showing how stupid the Kerry Doctrine of not preempting without international permission is.

Then we hear and read from the elite media about how Kerry “won” because he’s taller and more commanding while Bush looked tired and smirked. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

John Kerry grievously damaged our country and the world back in the Seventies when he and his co-conspirators undermined our war effort which directly caused the deaths of millions of Southeast Asians, dishonored that part of his generation that answered the call to duty and served honorably, threw our own country into turmoil while destroying the prestige of our military and harming our international image.

A Kerry victory today would be much worse for us and the world.

HE MUST BE DEFEATED!

PS, Please note that the Rassmussen Daily tracking poll below shows that Bush actuall increased his lead after the debate. The Rassmussen Poll is a poll of 3,000 people which is three times the sample of the competing polls that show Kerry ahead or tied.

The history books should show that Kerrys response during the debate were unresearched and false. Bush had to correct him so many times, that it was like a teacher correcting a student.

My female friends compare this thinking by Kerry..."I think the United States should have offered the opportunity to provide the nuclear fuel, test them, see whether or not they were actually looking for it for peaceful purposes."...like giving your two year old a screwdriver to play with, to see what he does with it. Makes no sense.

And the global test announcement....is he kidding?

So Kerry looked polished, he had a good delivery....so what. The content was empty and I was able to change a Kerry supporters mind this weekend using Kerry owns words and talking points to do so.

Much like the "polls" after the conventions, the "polls" that are used to track either candidate's numbers, depend greatly on the time following the event.

You should have noticed, that directly after the debate, the poll (emphasis on 1 poll) put John Kerry on top & immediately declared Kerry as the winner. This was all within hours of the event itself. You'll also notice that now after a few days to review the entire debate, the "polls" are somewhat leaning a bit more back to Bush. Some of these "polls" are using the "draw" factor in their descriptions, but only a couple actually give the "substance" of the debate to Kerry. Most point to the "style" of the candidate/s, and completly leave out the important issues (which determine in a large part, the voting practice of the swing voter). It works in a simular way after each convention & is reffered to a the "bounce', but usually returns to the prior status within days.

It is still my guess (that's all we can do in reality) that George W. Bush will retain the office of President, and we'll all be better off for it.

It is also a fact, that this week will be noted for the "up & down" poll numbers, as to the debates scheduled (Tuesday & Friday) will have an effect on the "polls" once again.

It is most important for us not to loose focus on the overall goal we have set for ourselves, but continue to support the down-fall of John Kerry, and re-election of George W. Bush.

With Gods help & continued support of the people such as The Swift Boat Veterans For Truth, this can & will be accomplished.

Have a great day,
