How about we do it this way. Here is the link to the South Brunswick Public Schools web site, which includes the telephone number for the Board of Education and e-mail addresses for the Superintendent of Schools and other school board members:

http://www.sbschools.org/

If you drill down through the schools page, you'll find names and telephone numbers for Crossroad Middle School, also (it appears that there are North and South campuses).

I just emailed the superintendent of the school. This is nuts, Bush's picture should have been up there since he was first elected.

This is too bizarre to be believed........except, of course, it's all to easy to believe--

Count me in--E-mails on the way; phone calls to follow tomorrow--This kind of BS simply [b]HAS{/B] to stop!--C

she just said that there were no other President's pics up - just Bush but the entire bulletin board was AMERICAN, with copies of most of our historic docs there. I don't think she has a lawyer yet, and she isn't part of the union yet. I bet she has her choice of lawyers now!

Hmmmmm.......--I wonder who started the story that the bulletin board had pictures of all the presidents, including Bush--Funny how some reporters feel the need to invent details to try to give an additional slant to the story or to, at least in their opinion, "strengthen" the story--The fact is that, in the end, it tends to have the opposite effect when the true facts eventually come out--

This change in the story does make a difference, though I still think that to tell a teacher in an American school that s/he cannot display a picture of the POTUS in his/her classroom is disgraceful--Just one more blantant display of how inane the current atmosphere of "political correctness" has become in this Country--It's just plain shameful, IMO--C

I wrote the superintendent of the schools, and received a reply from him. Essentially he wrote that she was political in class, had a stuffed elephant etc. Told the kids that liked Kerry she was glad they weren't old enough to vote. All in all he stands behind the principal. If I can figuer out how to do it, I will post his letter here. I'm not very sharp on this PC. Will try.

Not sure if you can post the Principal's email address so here is a link to Boortz's Notes from today

http://boortz.com/nuze/index.html

where he has a link to the Principal, Jim Warfel's, email address. Just click Warfel's name and you can email him. There is also a link to the school's webpage with the phone number of the school.

Here's the school's website:

Margie - need help? Just go up top of th e-mail and in edit click on 'select all' and then 'copy' and then go into this forum and in the body of your reply and right click on your mouse and click 'paste.' If it copies too much then drag your mouse over what you want to copy into your post and hightlight only that part... Hope that helps.

RDTF Thanks, but I tried "copy and paste" wasn't able to highlight the text in his reply. It came as an attatchment, and the acrobatic reader came on to read it. Is there a way to just send the "attachment" I think that's what it is called, came in a rectanglular box. Made me think though, that he must be getting a LOT of letters to have essentially a form letter defending his position, and sending it right back.

once the attachment comes up you can go into acrobat and up at that top do the edit - select all and then copy, and paste -
p.s. she just mentioned this 'memo' and that it is all lies! And this is why she has gone to the media.

I just sent this email to the Super. - and copied various people on their website. Hoping to get this form letter back.

Are You American?
I am angered, embarrased and saddened by your recent actions regarding firing a competent teacher for expressing views about the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. Regardless of your political views, he is our CURRENT sitting President! What is wrong with you people? You and the principal, if not others, need to resign immediately. There is outrage everywhere and this will not simply go away.

Maybe Warfel is related to NJ's outstanding governor. Laughing
