Members of Hamas 'on UN payroll'

"Oh I am sure that there are Hamas members on the UNRWA payroll and I don't see that as a crime. Hamas as a political organization does not mean that every member is a militant and we do not do political vetting and exclude people from one persuasion as against another," Mr. Hansen said.

The uproar concerning the UN's rumoured ties to groups like Hamas and Hezbollah -- which also provide food, welfare and schooling to Palestinians -- erupted this past week when the Israeli Defence Force released a pair of videotapes they claimed as proof that UN ambulances have been used to ferry munitiions and gunmen throughout the occupied territories.

The Israeli government is also insisting Mr. Hansen, who is one of the UN's top officials in Gaza, be immediately stripped of his duties and fired. Israel has previously accused Foreign Affairs Mr. Hansen of ''blatant anti-Israel bias'' and turning a blind eye to Palestinian militants' use of UN ambulances.

All of our US socialist politicians {pretty word for communist/marxist} are heavily linked to the United Nations of blood & theft. Getting rid of the UN would put a shot across their bow and make a big dent in beginning to gut them out of our politics & policy. It's their security blanket.

The Clintons are firmly anchored, bolted and lashed to the UN.

I hope that when this election is over, there are some strong people here that are willing to fight this fight. This is one way to cut the legs off of hil & bill

I received an email a week ago from a friend in the Government who received an email from Jerusalem UN Observer. This Observer appeared to be pro-palestenian and stated "what you don't hear is when they blow up kids on a football pitch and call them militants. OOPS They leave behind munitions that 9 kids get hurt when they explode in the street. 18 year olds robbing banks with TANKS in Ramallah, oh, and shoot people trying to get to work if they "look" suspicious. Honestly, The Israeli's will probably get us into WWIII"

Of course the UN is nothing more than a front for many terrorist countries and their organizations. They all march under the same flag, the white flag of surrender, FRANCE.

Israel arrests 13 UN workers

Israel has arrested 13 United Nations employees over "suspected links to terrorism", an Israeli army officer has said.

The names and job titles of the UN staff members were not revealed and it was not clear when they were arrested.

The announcement followed the killing of two members of the Palestinian terrorist group Islamic Jihad, including a senior official, in an Israeli missile attack in Gaza City.

The men died when their car was hit by two missiles fired from an Israeli helicopter gunship in the north-west part of the city.

Islamic Jihad said one of the victims was Bashir Aldabash, 40, who was one of the group's top officials in Gaza.

Hospital officials said three people were also hurt in the blasts.

The Israeli army has made no comment about the incident, which came as the military continued a large offensive in Gaza in which 68 Palestinians have died.
