www.factcheck.org gives me the Annenberg Center's factcheck site with no problems.

Boy for Edwards to win the Fox poll really means the Democrats were heavily out there bombing the polls. What do they think they are proving?

Navy_Navy_Navy,
The problem is the article claims Cheney said to go to factcheck.com and it provides a direct link to that which is a TERRIBLE site.

They are proving to anyone who watched the debate that the 'polls' are rigged. Wink

From transcript:

"They know that if you go, for example, to factcheck.com (sic), an independent Web site sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania, you can get the specific details with respect to Halliburton."

Ouch!

I was afraid of that. That was a big mistake by Cheney, then.

I'm pretty sure he said factcheck.com. I wondered at the time. Too bad.

does the (sic) mean Fox isn't sure what he said?

(Sic) means they know it is wrong but they are not responsible for the error.

To clarify, (sic) is in the transcript. I don't think it is in the Fox story. I don't know who provides the transcript.

I thought he said org, but what the heck, it's over and done now. I think Cheney put this trial lawyer in his place, it was obvious that Edwards was just parroting issues from Dem talking points. He did make a good effort to keep from being totally embarrassed but overall it was a good old fashioned woodshed whipping.

Crazy!! Hehehe..Terry Mcawful's strategy: Invading online polls. I do believe that the voters have already made up their mind. Bush (53%) vs. Kerry (44%). But still, let's not be complacent.

From The Kerry Spot about Edwards:

"he's so cute when he tries to get all fierce."

To think that Edwards could be prez if something were to happen to Kerry scares me real badly. That guy would get no respect whatsoever from world leaders.

Ghadhafi would demand his WMDs back.

Health Insurance goes up about 20% a year and it doesn't matter who is in office.

Back in 1992, all Hillary talked about was how she and Slick were going to initiate national health insurance. They went nowhere with it after being elected.

Maybe this was mentioned in this string but I couldn't search every page.
Wasn't Edwards back hand compliment to Cheney about his family just a way for him to mention that Cheney's daughter is gay?

Cheney looked pissed, didn't make a 30 second comment and at the end thanked the moderator, but not Lightweight Edwards.
