It is NOT illegal.

Unethical, perhaps. Illegal, no.

I have yet to see a republican (conservative) vote-swap, however.

And it's not conspiracy. Conspiracy requires coordination between two or more parties to commit a crime, whether or not the crime is actually commited is inconsequential.

I'm not a lawyer, and I don't play one on TV. However, I have studied Clarence Darrow, who made a brilliant observation on the nature of conspiracy that is quite enlightening, even for a layman.

Whew, I had to put on my tinfoil hat to get through the bizarreness on this web site. Wouldn't it be easier for Nader to just throw his support to Kerry than go through this convolution? There's no way die-hard Nader supporters are going to vote for Kerry on the "promise" that Kerry voters would vote for Nader.

I'd love to see them try this, can you imagine the Bush campaign's response to Kerry stumping for Nader?
