I just finished reading his book, Against All Enemies, and I was wondering who here has read the book and what their opinion on it is.
I hold this man in high regard for the service he has done for this country, and how he could have used the book as an attempt to out right burn Bush, but instead focused much of the book on past terrorism (many things I found very interesting) and his working with Reagan, H W Bush, and Clinton. I also found the first person reporting of events moments after 9/11 to be pretty interesting. My only problems with the book are the fact that I don't know how much of it I should hold as fact, because as he admits in the book, they are one man's opinions and through one man's eyes.
Just wondering what other's opinions are, and what are some good books on politics out there... _________________ "I already don't miss it," he said of Washington. Asked to elaborate, he replied: "You know that great feeling you get when you stop banging your head against a wall?" |
