Behind Hannity and Hughes--lots of enthusiastic Republicans!
I think Bush realized that his poll numbers were getting tight, realized that he needed to be more aggressive, and he probably spent most of the day preparing for the debate, because there weren't any hurricanes in Missouri recently!
Whatever he did--it definitely worked!
He will have to take that same "edge" into the third debate, then we can all breathe easier on November 3.
Still--just in case, I'll be give another $50 to SBVT !

Personally I thought the most of the questions were soft to Kerry and aimed at trying to hit what they percieve as Bush soft spots. I'm glad though because he was able to clarify his position on each one and each time his position makes sense. |
That question pissed me off. The President handled it well and rightfully adressed the "underlyin unasked question". The question was about Iraq plain and simple. You knew there would be some "sanbags" in there.
By the way this question was the final straw and for me and ended in a major blowout with myself and my younger sister. She started spewing the stupid rhetoric and I rather unloaded on her. I will be so happy when the Election is over and Kerry is history!!

don't forget that Kerry promised on air not to raise taxes to the middle class. but he can't help himself on raising taxes to pay for what he wants.
George Bush did a really good job tonight. He really got on Kerrys senate record.

Let's see a little rundown of John Kerry tonight.
He is still for that "Global" thing, but will Defend the U.S. (as long as the rest of the World agrees)
He will "Roll Back" the Tax Cuts (Raise Taxes) on those making over 200,000(He just pissed off a lot of Small Buisness owners)
He is against "Abortion", but refuses to take a stand on the issue (except to take the Pro Abortion Lobbies Money)
He thinks a Conservative Judge on the Supreme Court is a bad thing.
He tried to paint the President as a Flip Flopper, because he ended any new embryos being used in Research though President Bush is responsible for millions in Funding for use of exsisting embryonic Stem Cells.
Patriot Act BAd (But he voted for it)
God the list is mind numbing

I have heard others say sKerry is for every issue on all sides, I think we should point out that he is against every one in the United States on every issue. Keep up the effort until the whole country is over 60% for President Bush like we are here in Idaho. |
