A bunch of the MSM are saying that President Bush was yelling, especially at Charlie.
My kids used to try to pull this on me all the time. Mom, quit yelling at me.
And I would say calmly...this is talking in a firm steady voice, not yelling and THIIS IS YEELLLLING!!!!

Man I hate to sound like a whiner but it has never been more obvious that the media are conspiring to bring down this president.
Slanted fact checking. Bias in choosing what to focus on. Letting Kerry's Senate record go unchecked or even commented on. SBVT blackout and phony documents about Bush TANG service.
I thought Bush had a great debate. I appreciate animated, passionate leaders who appear human and real. Not robotic sloganeers. |

Go to my blog. I've blogged two posts recently about the economy. The fact is, Bush has now gained jobs. Furthermore, the economy is now better than it ever was under Clinton. You won't hear that on the news.
Here's a sample:
The economy has added more than 1.5 million payroll jobs over the past year and nearly 2 million jobs on the household survey. Most indicators point towards continued growth. Output is booming, the manufacturing outlook is positive, business confidence is high, and productivity continues to set records. Even such favorites among economic pessimists like data on long-term unemployment, manufacturing employment, and worker discouragement are showing marked improvement. Unfortunately for the pessimists, these are the facts that frame the debate on the economy today.

Not true --- the % breakdown is that the top 20% of income earners pay approximately 80% of the taxes, the bottom 20% pay almost zero, and the middle 60% of wage earners pay roughly 20% of the taxes --- The reason the top 10-20% income earners received tax refunds of $89 billion is because this group of people earned income in the trillions and paid taxes in the hundreds of billions --- Most people cannot even comprehend this amounts -- it is meaningless
When you speak in raw dollars it clouds the issue --- the result is that most people saw their taxes drop 10-15% -- So if you make 30,000 your taxes were 5,000 and now they are 4,250 --- that is $750. That is 750 extra in your pocket of the $30,000 you made.
When you try to compare that to someone who made $300,000 -- they got $7500 back in your pocket --- now you compare your $750 to their $7500 and think you were cheated THIS IS A BOGUS COMPARISON --- You can't refuse to look at why that person makes 10 times what you do --think about their education, their effort, their experience --- no one wants to look at why people make more money than them because then they would have accept responsibility for choices made and stop resenting people who made other choices and therefore earn more income. | what is with msm they are saying kerry won, also the online polls which are rigged anyhow, but they are using them, to I thought kery came accross as insincere and lying, how come they don't see it, I have e-mailed fox about this, alsoI am not sure which channel, after the debate, 4 independants were interview and they said that they now would vote for bush. thank god my birth country australia voted howard back in, this gives me hope, now we need to get behind bush for total victory |

| I just read this thread, and I tought our President did a great job. I just get so darned tired of kerry's lies. I don't know how many times he called the President a liar, not by that specific word, but alluding to it. If I could have reached through the screen I would have slapped him.
