When I hear that phrase "rough-cut {hewn} it smacks of AMERICAN. Europe still today thinks of us as "rough-cut" and insinuates that it is a bad thing. But that is one of our attributes that aided us in creating this experiment. Gave us courage to tackle impossibilities. Win unwinable wars. Invent what others could not imagine. Dream big dreams. Soar to space.
We who are ROUGH-CUT created the greatest FREE land on the planet - simply called the USA. I, for one, am proud to be a rough-cut American
