Bush appears to be slipping quite a bit. He was at his peak popularity during the Swift Vet ads. We REALLY need a boost in these final 3 weeks. Please put me at ease and say you have something planned between now and Nov. 2nd. I don't know how I'd survive 4 years of Kerry as our Idiot in Chief.

Sad

ON Bruce Springsteen web site for Kerry to our kids they are even calling
FDR a BAD man who had to kill Germans and it was Immoral. They are trying to make home grown terrorsits and American Haters like John Kerry.

Did you check the final outcome prediction on the same site?

Not that we should let up and think it is in the bag. I want to keep the pressure on Kerry even after the election.

The after election mission is to deport Kerry to France. They deserve each other.

All of these projections have to be taken with a hefty grain of salt either way. The sample sizes are relatively small and the methodology is suspect even in the genuinely honest efforts at polling. It is difficult to get a truly random sample that is needed for quality estimates.

I question that those being polled are routinely giving honest answers.

None are spending real money to do the polling. If one of the big ad agencies did it I would bet the results would be more reliable.

I also suspect both parties of conspiring within themselves not to look to good in order to encourage heavier turn out. My opinion of course.

All the same don't take anything for granted. An event can cause a sudden shift in in either direction in our fickle society.

All these polls, each saying different things (I guess there's one for everyone's vision), with no real way of knowing how, who, when, etc. they were conducted, etc., etc., etc. I've finally come to the conclusion that they are all have about as much veracity as any one of Kerry's PLANS. One thing they do all agree on: it will be close.

What will happen will happen. Until then the best that we can do is to try to change some people's minds.

An interesting article at Yahoo news

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=694&ncid=703&e=3&u=/ap/20041009/ap_on_el_pr/bush_s_economy

discusses past proven election projection models that favor Bush. The keepers of these models claim to doubt them. Are their arguments good or do they object to the results? I don't know which.

Another projection map is
http://www.electionprojection.com/elections2004.html
and it is Bush friendly. I wish I could say that I know it is reliable, but I reaaly don't know.

The overall popular vote percentage has little bearing as maybe four states are the real unpredictable ones that can swing the electoral college count one way or the other.

Here's another "shut up" and don't sing.
