well, I think I am seeing why Fox is being careful. They just annouced that the panel that Eric Burns heads up will be discusisng "bias in the media". he mentions that Fox's reporter Karl Cameron has been accused of bias. I remeber reading about that, after the first debate he was just having a little fun with Skerry and everyone got all bent out of shape. He just made some silly remarks, an attempt ot be funny. nothing like this guy at abc. He apoligized and retracted his statements. Fox apoligized and all too. wow , the repubs can't misspell a word or they are all over us, Skerry and his boy wonder can call Bush liars and all and it is OK u know. Shocked

Just called the number to ABC and they passed my on to a recording and I hung up and called back and asked her not to pass me on and she said this is not my job to listen to people complain, how did she know I was going to complain, unless they have had zillions of phone calls.

Actually, Brit Hume mentioned the memo briefly on Fox last night just before the debate began--Said that there was some noise about it floating around "spin alley" but there was nothing verified yet--I think at that point they were 1) concentrating on just covering the debate beginning in just moments and 2) wanting to be cautious to be sure they got the facts before running with the story--But they definitely knew about it last night--C

I think we need to contact ABC directly and the affiliates. The tone of our contact should be if this is false why hasn't Halperin denied writing that letter.

I just finished speaking with my sister in australia, and she is telling me they are reporting it every 15 mins on the news that bush was wired, can anyone tell what paper this was in , and how come it got to australia, and who is the source

I would really like to see FOX start another news network or at least dedicate a couple of quality hours of time a week to a news magazine type show that will expose these left wing conspiracies. Things like Rathergate and in depth reviews of the SBVFT stories. There is a never ending supply of scandel and other stories out there that in not being exposed.

Maybe we could put together a list and send it to them. I'm betting the market would be enormous. I'm talking about a 60 Minutes or 20/20 type show that can give adaquate time to get deep into an issue.

Not some "fair and balanced" approach, but more like the unvarnished truth. Stories about Iraq and terrorism, Euro bias and Michael Moore documentories. It's too late for this election to put together anything permanent but the left isn't going away..

Give Brit Hume's Special Report hour over to real news anchoring - with Brit anchoring, of course.

I don't think that will happen, BOR was on last night defending rather,saying that we should give him a break, that he could identify with rather, because he gets accused of being too far left or right, it was sickening, the way he was supporting rather, I think we need to e-mail BOR and tell him that when you report lies, this is what happens to you, beware
