Who cares what you think? It's not your decision. Maybe Mr Kerry will run in Belgium after Nov 2 and you can vote for him then. _________________ 8th Army Korea 68-69 |

A recent poll showed that 90 percent of French people want John Kerry elected. |
I always find it interesting that only the first part of that poll is quoted. Second part of that poll is that 58% of the Europeans want to see the roll of the United States weakened. Therefore the Europeans want to see Kerry elected so that the United States will be weaker and not stronger. You know, maybe if we'd be willing to elect Kerry, then they will be willing to share THEIR 0% economic and job growth with us.

And this is why Kerry's sister was such a dud in Australia.
Aussies and Americans have a LOT in common. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

I tried to be nice about it. To wit I sent:
You are certainly correct. Given an option the US would much rather fight wars abroad than visited on say, New York. When the Germans burned Liege in the First war we detrmined to fight that one abroad and now in Flanders poppies decorate our graves. Thirty years later Americans again fought abroad in Belgian towns like Bastogne. Our self interest was paramount but the effect was to do for Belgium what she couldn't do for herself.
I can forgive your ingratitude. But, for your own self interest you should learn that you too are slated for destruction by Jihadists. Your peaceful intentions have been no protection in the past and promise none for the future.
Your naive endorsement of Kerry if well published should rebound nicely to Bush. |
