Set your TV/VCR's folks, looks like Scarborough Country is having a long debate Monday. John O'Neill representing the SwiftVets and some guy representing Texans For Truth (Anti-Bush group). I'm not sure if it will be a debate between Texans For Truth and the SwiftVets (would be weird because O'Neill doesnt discuss Bush) or between O'Neill and Scarborough, etc. Whatever the case may be, looks like this will be one to tune into and gets the Swifties back in the spotlight! |

This interview is getting more interesting by the day. Today, Glenn W. Smith, founder of Texans For Truth released a book called "Unfit Commander" and basically copied/mocked the cover of "Unfit For Command" With both Smith & O'Neill being on Scarborough Country tonight, it makes me wonder what O'Neill will say about the new book release by Smith. The link below showing the book is thanks to "fanningp" over on the main thread.

I highly recommend Joe's show. IT IS THE ONLY thing I watch on MSNBC, but he is fair..and he is a Conservative, so what the hell, show that network that Joe can get ratings while the other shows cannot..
Tuning in in about 10 minutes...

I have now watched the first segment..this is NO contest. John is kicking that Glenn Smith all over the place. He is making us so proud. As I am not a vet, I do not feel I can comment on what is being said..But, for those of you who are..I am so sorry that this man, and this Senator are and have said the horrid lies and still say these lies today. It makes me sick to my stomach. Pat is doing a great job too..he is not letting this Smith fool get away with anything..(yes, Pat read the book!!)
One question? I saw the commerical for Texans for Truth..with the wives of the National Guard members serving NOW in Iraq..please forgive me if this is a foolish question..but I just can not imagine these men wanting their wives...in breathless tones, to say.." George W Bush has a lack of integrity and is unfit to lead my husband"..It would seem to me that these men must be facing some pretty harsh times from his fellow Guardsmen over there..Just wanted some opinions on that if I could. It made me ill.
Keep up the great work John, Smith is a fool and it is showing tonight..

Yay John! He did a wonderful job!
That Glenn guy was a freak. He didn't know what he was talking about. Talk about uninformed. Heh. Made him look just like a Bush hater....O' that's right, he is. _________________ www.misspatriot.blogspot.com |

SBVT was never about George Bush's service it was about Kerry's.
Buchannan asked a very good question and Glenn Smith could not address it. To summarize you have all of these men, why would they? why would they lie?
Lastly, the not in the same boat crap. I am so sick of people using such a lame reasoning for other soldiers being right beside him and then claiming they didn't serve with him. I am sure that somewhere Kerry has stated that he served with more than 11 people i.e guys not in the same boat. _________________ The war against terrorism is not that Americans might die rather that we would alter our way of living.
