Today I attended a rally for President Bush at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, (Denver) Colorado.
The MC for the event was Congressman Bob Beauprez, who told this story:
"It's the silly season, as you all know. Reporters, by now, have asked the same questions over and over, and so they typically take a new angle. One reporter recently asked the President: 'Mr. President, boxers or briefs?' to which the President, who is known both for his quick wit and his ability to tell the truth, replied, ' BOXERS!'"
"Well, a few days ago the same question was posed to Sen. Kerry. 'Senator, boxers or briefs?'"
His reply should have been expected:
"Depends", he answered.

Make those extra large, extra absorbant, with teddy bears on them!
