The FEC didn't declare Fahrenheit 9/11 an illegal contribution to Kerry, though the DNC can point to some differences. For one, I recall hearing that the date mattered - if shown in theaters after a certain date, it might be considered a contribution. Also, you had to pay to see Fahrenheit, while Stolen Honor will be on public airwaves.
That said, I hope Sinclair prevails, because I genuinely consider this news. Certainly no less so than CBS's National Guard and draft stories, eh? _________________ -- Bill in Seattle |

Makes one wonder why the RNC didn't file a greivance against CBS news and Dan Rather for their fraudulent document in-kind contribution to the Kerry campaign. |

Did anyone get a better e-mail address than to the 'webmaster'?
I sent an e-mail several days ago expressing my gratitude for their showing of 'Stolen Honor' even though I am not in a Sinclair state.
Also told them to expect an onslaught of criticism. |

I called them and emailed them today to thank them! Unfortunately, we do not live in one of their areas so asked if they'd be showing it on their website! |

Someone may wish to start a seperate thread about this but there is an online poll being taken by Sinclair as to whether they should show the film or not.
You'll find the poll here, please vote! |

I am one of the lucky ones, KOVR13 in Sacto is a Sinclair station. I will be seeing to it that everyone I know is at least is aware of the showing.
I must say that the local farmers really know how to make me feel good. The only signs I am seeing out in the fields are Bush Cheney. In fact, just today, right outside the people republic of Davis I saw the biggest Bush Cheney sign I have seen to date. Must be driving the local commies mad...... _________________ "And no pair has been more wrong, more loudly, more often, than the two Senators from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry"

Im not sure if anyone started a thread but I went to the poll and it's not good news....67 to 33 AGAINST showing the film.
If this poll is being taken by Sinclair and will affect their decision, we need a lot of help.

I had no Idea Kerry had been invited to participate.
This leaves him no room or excuse to protest the event at all. |

I just voted Yes 5 times from this computer. I will vote yes another 5 times from each of the other 2 PC's in the house. And I will keep doing that throughout the day. It seems to work. At least the Website did not complain that I had already voted. Hit 'em hard!! _________________ Bob

Bob, your votes and mine must count for something. While voting and also sending an email to Sinclair, the YES vote changed from 34% to 35%. Slowly but surely........ _________________ No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.

Bump back to the top just to remind everyone again to VOTE on this poll at Sinclair. THey want to know if we want the documentary aired.
We are down in the poll. Let's get the YES's up to 100%. Vote often.
Link: http://www.newscentral.tv/
We can't let the Dems shut this down. It's GOT to air.
Send the link to everyone you know. |
