Maybe it's just me, but it seems the Navy Times has become politicized.

I retired in '87, and didn't see the publication for quite a few years until I responded to a solicitation a few years ago. It is not the Navy Times I remember from my Active Duty days. Way too much political spin.

I don't plan on renewing my subscription, just wondering if anyone else sees it the same way, or is it just me?

Yup! Subscribed as a Gung Ho junior officer without actually reading it...
began recycling without reading shortly thereafter and refused to renew. From glancing through the occasional issue at the PX, it has only gotten worse since then.

I think I dropped it about '85, when I thought it was starting to go down hill. I haven't seen it since, but they sure called me a lot for a while.

I haven't read the Army Times either, until recently. I got out in '77 and what I see in it today is a total opposite of what I remember back then.

I used to get it when I made my monthly Commissary run. I gave up
on it several years ago when I found that I just left it sit on the couch
and never read it.

This month I got a copy of Army Times on my Commissary run because
#3 son in law was due to report to Ft. Benning last Thursday. I asked
my kid how she liked it and she told me there were a couple of good
articles, but mainly it was about the Combined Federal Campaign.
