I did not find that a bad thing. I mean, think about it, Germany doesn't back Mr. Bush, we knew that. We also know that German has been implemented in the UN Oil for Food big time. Having been bribed and all that. Now, I don't know about everybody, but I would not want Germany with us no matter who was the President. This could very well backfire for Kerry. Oh, I know he says he can get more people involved should he be elected. I just don't know how many people will want them involved knowing what they know about the UN Oil for Food. That's just my opinion. |

Bottom line, the people of germany are against sending troops into Iraq to fight and they hate the US not just becuase of Bush either. this sounds like political theater. If anything it makes Germany look bad. _________________ John Kerry, R.I.P. (Rot In Paris) |

Like so many things in this volitile and unpredictable election season, this could very well work to sKerry's detriment--I think a lot of Americans are sick to death of Europeans trying to influence our foreign policy, let alone our elections and I think many may see this as just that--
Not to mention the logical question about why we should trust a so-called ally who stabbed us in the back before--C _________________ “I haven’t seen anyone milk this much out of a bad boat ride since Gilligan” -- Dennis Miller |

The only remark the guy made was that he would be up for a meeting.. I'm quite sure he would be up for a meeting with the Bush Admin as well.
I don't see this as verification for Kerry that he can make any headway with with Germany (or anyone else) that Bush cannot.. but I'm sure that Kerry's campaign will seize the opportunity to grab that one statement, and try to spin it as confirmation that he has an inside line to the Germans.

Relax.
We already do not accept Germany and France as a bidder on
reconstruction work in Iraq.. How did they get around that???
They are sub-contractors.
Next, they are trying to find a face-saving way to worm back
into the world group.
Note that they wll continue to MONITOR the situation! When we
have done the heavy lifting they will opportunisticaly want back
in the game.
Think about it ; when Bush is re-elected they STILL have to
come to the table if they are to resume participating in normal
world affairs.
They are no more trustworthy than Kerry. Either one will sell the
other out for personal gain. Do you see loyalty there???
Remember, a lot of the wonderful people on this site helped to
make sure that Germany did not rule the world!!! They know.
World opinion has started to spark in admiration of George Bush.
They are starting to appreciate his rare courage and disregard for
personal adulation and applause.
Look what he and our wonderful troops have accomplished!!
Isn't anyone touched that today for the first time in history a
culture went to the polls and freely chose a leader??
God has his hand on our cowboy. Keep the prayers going. We
have faced bigger and darker odds before.
Remember Churchill begging for help?? He finally said (to us
included) give us the weapons and we will win the fight!!!
Leaders of nations rise and fall at the behest of God.
Let's do our part. That is all we can do.
Remember "When faith goes to market, it takes a basket"!
Sleep well. God and great American troops with a few GOOD
FRIENDS are watching over things.
Make it a joyful day.

I read: Now that we've be caught with our hand in the Till of the UN's Oil for Food Bribery scam we are going to try and back the guy least likely to do anything about it and who will give us reconstruction contracts without even caring that WE DIDN'T EARN THEM OR DESERVE THEM.
Kerry will try and run with this for sure...standing up for his good friends the Germans....I think America is getting a little tired of all his "friends" |

All the talk about Germany and France and their involvemnet in Iraq with Sadam and their no supporting the coalition's actions etc. is not new to President Bush.
The adminstration was aware of the involvement. How could they come out with that info and accuse them?
So they were not in the coalition...immediately they were bocked from participating in the reconstruction! Brilliant chess move. This adminsitration gat them out of Iraq and then some. They lost their buyer, hurt their pocketbook and no way out but to slam the President and support Kerry. of course he was right there "meeting" and chating with them to further their goals...not America's. He only knows how to play one side of te game.
This also needs to be put out to the MSM. how President Bush has been able to get anything accomplished is truly amazing. CTW

Ditto, Most Americans would see through this, we don't want to get involved in your elections but we would come to a Kerry meeting. What a backdoor way of doing it. Meeting and sumit loving people do not put their money where there mouth is because they have already put the money in bribe laden pockets and we all know it. As Americans we do not like other nations involved in our elections, besides Bush can acknowledge that they are already involved through NATO. This is a two edged sword for Kerry if he tries to use it. I am sure somehow he will. The press release this Thursday on his fundraisers involvement with the wrong side of Iran hopefully will be reported by the MSM and cause him some damage. Stolen Honor coming out, and hopefully some October surprises of our own. He seems to do a pretty good job himself everytime he or Edwards opens their mouth, the nuisance. and the be healed stuff. God loves to send confusion into the camp of the enemy and they sound pretty confused, now for some confusion into the Koolaid drinkers. _________________ twicearound |

Well said twicearound. There are so many issues and projects to work on. Hope we can focus on the most important. Just pick your favorite and get the message out as best you can.
I still see some hope for foxnews. Keep the emails going to them. I have to add Brit and Major. Put Linda Vester dayside on your list.
Let's keep the pressure on. CTW

The Germans are peeing in their pants because Bush promised to pull their big cash cow, the US bases in Germany, out by 2006.
They already have double the unemployment we have, and losing the American dollars that come in from the bases will be a big hit on their economy.
Too bad, I say. Maybe they should cut a deal with North Korea or Iran, assuming they aren't already! _________________ Everytime he had a choice, Kerry chose to side with communists rather than the United States. |

A total political move that does Kerry no good. It's a blatant attempt by the Germans to effect our election. The international efforts to effect our election this year our unprecedented and directly related to the DNC and statements made by Kerry. _________________ Bill Hershey
