Excuse me this is a russian saying we couldn't see them?? If we told them we couldn't maybe it was to make them think we can't (hide face behind hands - now you can't see me type stuff)

First, what are the odds that the Russians would risk a military confrontation by flying into monitored airspace without first asking permission? Not very likely.

Second, what are the odds that the Russians would call the USAF and say, "Hey, we were there. Did you see us?" even if they were nowhere near our airspace. Possible, given Russian humor. (I am married to a Russian, by the way)

Third, if the Russians did ask the question, what are the odds that the USAF would say, "We didn't see you. Maybe we should check our equipment" while rolling their eyes? Very likely.

Read the clip again......it says the Russian bombers flew undetected through the US zone of the Arctic Ocean.

When did it become Canadian responsibilty to detect Russia bombers crossing US space?

Also Conservatives currently head the government in Canada not Liberals.
