The question I have is why has the president's team allowed such Left wing moderators. First there was Jim Lehrer. This evening it's Gwen Fill. Her background: PBS, NY Times, NBC news. What's wrong with that picture? We can't even get moderate moderators.

I wish I knew. It is bad when almost the entire press is against us. They can do so much harm. The average voter just does not involve themselves in the political process like we are. Hey at least Dick Cheney won the coin toss this time. Very Happy

One problem I see is we, the republicans, conservatives, etc, have a thing about playing fair and with honor.. It seems that most of us were raised where morals and values and character meant something, and the importance of being a lady or gentleman are important. Sadly, we are dealing with people for whom none of this is important. They just want to win and how they do it is not relvant. so what are we going to do. let them win? The average liberal's view is : it's only wrong if u get caught.

Guys, seriously, someone in the Bush camp better take the gloves off. I'm praying for Bush too, but the good guys do not always win. Now that we all know to what lengths they will go to win this election, do we get in the mud with them or take the high road? Can we live with Skerry for 4 maybe 8 yrs?

because if they had rush, bill o'riley or any of the other conservitives the liberals would, to say the least, would stroke out..

basicaly what they work on is the lack of information and the emotions of the general population, and now there is no way the libs and even some of the conservitives, will allow any real truth to come out in the questions.

I think in the media circles, Lehrer and Fill are regarded a moderates. I do watch them daily on PBS and they ask queations and follow up with another questions without giving their own opinions. What I like about PBS News shows are they do report the news and stick with the issues without the usual attempt to entertain by controversy.
I only know Lehrer and Fill from PBS and they seem straight to me.

PBS was involed in giving their donor list to the dems in the 2000 election. There president or vice, something like that had to resign and Clinton call lehrer their monitor. This about says it all. The head of the debate comission is a moderate Republican (makes you wonder) My Hubby has seen Gwen on MSM and she seemed moderate to conservative. Tonight will tell.

I think Bush deliberately avoided asking for any conservative moderators. From an argument standpoint, it is much easier to get your point across when responding to a slanted or biased question.

those 3 grumpy old guys at fox and one woman are always wrong on their spin. that was a hot debate and they can't even see it. the mod was biased and it showed.
dick cheney was brilliant and edwards need to find a new job Very Happy
