My mom had 3 teenagers who came to the door with no costumes, just big signs around their necks with some stupid "No Bush, Kerry can do it, blah blah blah" saying on it. She said "What does your sign say?" When they read it, she said "Then you don't get any candy cause I support President Bush" and she walked away from the door with them just staring at her shocked. |

I believe their will be a Bush landslide in spite of the fact that I am not eating a mini candy bar but drinking a diet ginger ale and smoking a cigar. _________________ "And no pair has been more wrong, more loudly, more often, than the two Senators from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry"

Too late blue, but you can vote in tomorrow's tooth brushing poll.
I really, really, rilly rilly think I should get a pundit's place at the table with those roundtable guys on Fox. I think they should get read of that Mara or whatever the heck her name is, and let me do these polls. I can hear me now: WHAT? STF up, Juan, you stupid basitige.
Way better than those guys trying to act like the whole thing isn't a total joke--because this election season has gone beyond ridiculous into surreal. Beyond surreal even. What is beyond surreal? _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |

Want to get really mad? You pay BOTH Mara's and Juan's salary!
Yup, they both work for NPR, and Uncle Sam--through your taxes--
funds it. _________________

Kimme, when Juan starts into his schpeel just cut him off with something like--Ya right Juan, who gives a rats-a**? Then straight faced as all hell look right into camera and say what really needs to be said.
Are they taking resume's? _________________ MOPAR-BUYER |

I had an idea I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP to manufacture and market plastic extrusion rats @$$es.
I figured it for the next Pet Rock.
Think about it: How many times have you heard people say, "I could give a rats @$$" Or: "I don't give a rat's @$$"
BUT HAVE YOU EVER SEEN! OR BEEN GIVEN! A RATS @$$!
NO! Me either! Think about it, folks: Instead of just telling your boss, "Look, I don't really give a rat's @$$!" you could actually give him a rat's @$$. Think of the symbolism! Think of the myriad uses for them during this election cycle alone!
I had sketches, marketing pitches, heck, I even had financial backing. Then the next day everyone sobered up and they all wanted their checks back.
If it weren't for sobriety, I would be a millionaire. _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |

I'm drinking a full-sized (but not 3/4 ton) can of good ole american barley pop (the words stolen from a friend of mine from the Badger state) and am eating no candy, but contemplating a mini-kit kat, because every year I buy two pounds of candy, and every year I get 0-3 kids that come and try and take it from me.
Maybe I'm that scary guy down the road I remember from when I was a little kid...
I always remembered, though, if you had the stones to go knock on that door, you'd always get the good stuff, snickers, reeses, etc.
I had it here waiting, the good stuff, at least ten bucks worth... only three kids had the stones... they were rewarded handsomely!

Kimmy, I'll take a gross of those rat's @sses.
Problem is, I don't know what I'd do with them. I'd never give one away...
Because I never give a rat's @ss, ever!
Still, I've got space in the garage for some, and China needs the business.

recon: you SAY you will take them, but as soon as you sober up...or your wife finds out you have ordered rats @$$es...
That's what happened to my funding. Even the ones who hung tough through the hangovers, backed off when faced with the wives.
I was working the angle of the rats @$$es, maybe a pithy message to convey that while the recipient was currently in actual posession of an actual rats @$$, the giver was meant to convey the deeper meaning vis a vis a rat @$$ delivery. Maybe it is too esoteric, but I don't think so. I mean, I get it. How tough can it be?
I wanted to sabotage the Dem Convention, and when they pulled the levers to release the balloons, WHAMO! Hundereds of thousands of rats @$$es would rain down on them.
Good! You nominate John Kerry! Well, we don't give a rats @$$.
I had the help lined up for that too, when sobriety once again raised its ugly head. The only one still up for it was a Marine aviator, but it's a given he'll do whatever I want. And it was going to take more than two people. _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |
