No matter what, it is too late and will not be desiminated by the MSM. _________________ DenisC

It won't affect the outcome at this point. News takes a couple of days to disseminate, get discussed and sink in.
The MSM have failed in their duty to defend American democracy, by failing to investigate the character of John Kerry and his meetings with the enemy in Paris. _________________ Ted Harwood, Ph.D.

Please excuse if this has already been asked.
I heard somewhere recently that even if Kerry did get a less-than-honorable discharge, he could not be criticized for not admitting it, because the upgraded honorable discharge would have legally displaced the previous discharge, and as far as the military is concerned, the originally issued discharge would no longer exist.
Is this an accurate assessment? |

Yes and no, IMHO.
The point would be that he got the first less-than-honorable for collaboration with the enemy.
That would be the "convicted" part of Article 14 Section 3 of the constitution.
Which would be the grounds for removing him from the Senate.
Otherwise:
(a) a less-than-honorable, in and of itself, might NOT be grounds ... just being slimy does NOT disqualify one from the Senate or Presidency.
(b) "consorting with Communists", especially these days, is just a spin-control exercise.
If you have (a) because of (b), then you have something. |
