It's like watching a train wreck.
Kerry seems to forget that Cheney isn't the President. Did he miss a memo? _________________ USMC 69-72, 7th Comm, 3rd MarDiv, FMFPAC

Here's how Jim Geraghty is reporting Kerry's speech on National Review Online's "Kerry Spot" (note Geraghty's comment after Kerry's "wake up call" line):
Quote: | KERRY IMPLODES [09/02 11:58 PM]
Kerry, just now: “Now that the president has finally finished his speech…”
Finally? Finally, drone-man? My hair has turned gray waiting for you to finish a sentence!
“I have five words for Americans: This is your wake up call!”
That’s six, bonehead.
Mark it. 11:56, September 2, 2004, the Kerry campaign imploded during a hastily-thrown-together, poorly-thought-out late night rally in Ohio. |

John F-ing Kerry is a tiny, wee, little man. He spews lies from his mouth faster than any politician I've witnessed in my lifetime. He MUST be stopped! |

You're joking. Right? He didn't do that, did he?

Cipher,
He's not joking. The entire speech sounded angry and jumbled together. While Bush's speech had unifying themes Kerry's speech sounded like something thrown together at the last minute....and delivered by someone who is not good at extemporanous speaking. Wait...I thought Bush was supposed to be bad at that..... _________________ -Polaris

heh.
He's panicked. He's reading the DU talking points. They've all been fisked to death and beyond.
Now I can go sleep. _________________ USMC 69-72, 7th Comm, 3rd MarDiv, FMFPAC

The best line of the night was "People are always correcting my English. I knew I was in trouble when Arnold started correcting me." _________________ USMC 69-72, 7th Comm, 3rd MarDiv, FMFPAC

I gotta admit Edwards' has a good surgeon, for a fifty year old he looks about thirty five. Nice dye job too, I guess that's what you get when you can afford a couple hundred dollars for a haircut.
but, I guess you can afford it when you make a couple hundred million on the backs of children with birth defects. I guess that also makes you an expert on 'the working man'...
a lot of air but little substance. |

He's like a suicide bomber, but the other people he's taking down are his own supporters. |

After watching that pathetic man, I think I am going to have to donate a few more dollars to make sure he is not beaten, but crushed. |

Hey, Just a thought. Does Kerry remind anyone out there of Gumby?
