237 to 211 on electorial votes. Too bad too many voters are so fickle. 60 days is a long time. Ever since Klinton beat Bush Sr. and algore almost won in 2000 -- I take nothing for granted.
I would love to see a Reagan landslide. _________________ Top 10 Weasels.com is where Kerry is Weasel #1 |

Beatrice we expect nothing less than for you to stand
out on a busy street corner with a sandwich board saying
"I believe the Swift Boat Vets"
But for Gods sake and ours don't get in the traffic. |

The dems are very vocal and angry around here... like hornets. This is their state. I've been getting jostled and harassed just by carrying around UFC (which I continue to do ) ... I am working on people though, all the time. What we need here are some big, strong guys carrying around those sandwich boards -- up and down Nicollet Mall at noon!! I look for them every day-- c'mon Minnesota vets! |

I had good news at dinner last night. 2 (Dem) friends said that the swiftvet's ads and TV coverage started them thinking, and coupled with the President's and Kerry's speeches Thurs. night, they would never consider voting for Kerry, ever again! I was so excited. For months, we had tried to convince them Kerry was a lying POS. Thank you Swifties! You did what my husband and I couldn't do.
Keep it up, by election day, The Kerritanic will be sunk!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW, Our friends' main concern is National Security! |

None of the polls have yet to include Bush's speech within the numbers. To do a poll you need about 3-4 days after an event to include it.
To have statistically relevant data you need to pick a random sample of homes to call. If you don't get an answer on the phone you have to call back until you do. This is why you see these three day windows on most polls...when they were taken.
If you were to move on to the next house to call without trying again you skew the data. You would exclude for example all voters that work nights...who were out for the weekend...whatever....to be valid you have to keep trying to get the person back.
So the first real numbers will be out Monday or Tuesday. Those will truly include the full convention effect.

I am predicting the numbers go up....watching this closely. The real irony is that the Press is regarding the Swift Vets as now a historical event, rather than ongoing |
